Thanks to my personal learning network on Twitter, I discovered the new American Libraries Inside Scoop blog; this blog led me to the LITA (Library and Information Technology Association) blog. Both blogs featured a discussion of Tim Spalding’s general session keynote, “What is Social Cataloging and Why Should You Care?”. In his speech, Spalding (founder of Library Thing), discussed the impact of social cataloging and why he believes Library 2.0 may be in danger.
I encourage you to read both entries! Check out these thought provoking blog posts at:
You can find out more about LITA by visiting their official website—I wish I could attend this forum!
